Hair Dying Advice Please!?

Right now, I have dark brown hair (my natural hair color) with bleach blonde underneath. The part of my bangs that are blonde are pretty fried and a little of it was accidently burned. But, the rest of my blonde hair is pretty healthy, just a little dry.

The last time I re-dyed my hair was about 2 months ago and I'm already bored with my current hair. I want to dye ALL of my hair black and dye just one streak of hot pink. I am also thinking of some white or bleach blonde around my bangs. My question is if I should do this or not. I don't know what would be better; to wait, cut it or if my hair is ok to dye right now. I do not want to end up with completely damaged hair. And if I do do this, would I dye my hair black or pink first?

Thanks a ton!!!!

No I don't adivse this at all. Even though this style can be done at a beauty salon not only would it be too expensive but It will also look unflatering. I don't recommend coloring your hair black because black color is very hard to get out of the hair and if you wanted to bleach your hair you would wind up orange and fried and you don't want that. Since you have naturally dark brown hair stick with a multitonal color which is not too exterme. Explore all the brunette and red shades for the most vibrant and naural looking shades. Steer clear of black because it will make you looked washed out and definately steer clear of blonde shades because bleaching your hair is the most damaging and touching up the roots are a pain. There is a new breakthrough at home color called revlon colorist. Revlon colorist is a breakthrough salon quality hair color will a color glaze system. Definitely try the red shades. Go red like Marcia Cross or Debra Messing. Try the revlon colorist #65 Light Auburn. It is the lighest auburn possible. Red color compliments brunettes because it evenly lightens the hair out. You can also try the revlon colorist #57 Red Brown. It is a beautiful red shade that is distillled with red. You will also have built in highlights and multitonal hair. It will look far more appealing than jet black hair which is a pain to lighten. After you colored your hair to keep the color vibrant use the John Frieda Radiant Red Collection shampoo conditioner plus glaze and the pantene pro V red expressions. Your hair will be beautiful shiny healthy and the color will be natural looking.

you should wait a little longer because just 2 months would be to much maybe another month or like 2-3weeks and if you still do it do black dye then hot pink next

You are better off going to a salon to get this done because they will do it right. You will probably dye all of your hair black, then try to bleach peices and add pink and you will end up with fried bangs, orange where the pink should be, and gray where you put black over blonde.

Hair is fragile, especially when you get it involved with different dyes. If you really want to re-dye your hair, make sure you give your hair some time to heal. Get it deep conditioned. Using products on it if you are going to use heat (a blow dryer, curling iron, flat iron, etc.). Ultimately, you should try not to use any heat on your hair at all, it's very damaging!

But have fun with your hair, maybe if you don't feel ready to dye it yet because you're worried about damaging it more then find a cute way for a new haircut! Or, a new way to pull your hair back or style it.

Experiment! Good luck!

If you do this your hair is going to be ruined. I just thought I would let you know that first. Second you need to get the blond first in order to even get the pink. Do that first then get the rest black. Please get it done in a salon or you will have a mess. If you put a box dye on it, it will be harder to lift out later if you get bored w/ ur hair again which you probably will. all in all I don't even think you should dye it black. Hope I helped a little. Good luck. Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers.
