What is the best way to help VERY damaged hair due to dyeing?

I put pink highlights in my hair with manic panic. On the 8th i attempted to dye my hair close to what color i keep it [i am naturally a mousy brunette and keep it a dark golden blonde]. All that happened with that was darker hair with more intense pink streaks. The next day i bought an at home hair striper. I striped only the pink and right around them. The hair around the pink went this hideous straw blonde. Then i attempted to dye over it but my hair would not accept any color. So i went to the salon from hell who told me that the only way they could fix this was to go with the pink and dye my hair red then brown. So thats what they did. I walked out with almost purple hair. I attempted to dye it brown and it still came out purple. Then i went to an AMAZING salon and they striped it and dyed it. With the exception of the pink this all happened to my hair in like 54 hours. My hair is now normally colored but horribly dry. Any ideas how to fix my hair and make it a little healthier?

First of all, don't dye your hair so often.

Now this is a very useful and healthy method.

Seaweed.

Eat lots of it, seaweed has a lot of nutrients that makes your hair nice and shiny.

You can buy seaweed from asian supermarkets and stores :)

Shampoo your hair with fingertips massage. That helps to stimulate blood circulation and improve the growth of new hair.

Never comb your wet hair, because then they are the most vulnerable.

Never sleep with tightly braided hair to prevent them from breakage.

Alive hair are breathing through their tips and this part needs the biggest care, cut them time to time and use the oil after washing.

Try to use your hair up more often, you must prevent your long hair from environmental damage if you want to have strong, healthy and shiny hairstyle.

Various masks are created to nourish and moisten your hair.

First of all, go to your hairdresser to just get a trim. Then purchase a loreal paris absolut repair hair mask. Apply this each time you wash your hair and leave on for about 3-4 mins. Once you have towel dried your hair, apply a split ends repair cream like this one

Use good salon products on your hair. Since you say it is damaged, I would recommend Joico K-Pak or Brocato Cloud 9 shampoos, conditioners, and treatments. They will repair damage, and help prevent future damage. Your hair will become stronger and healthier with those products. After you feel like your hair is back to normal, you can just use those shampoos and conditioners a couple times a week, and use a different kind of shampoo/conditioner for volume, shine, or whatever.

I never thought salon products made a difference, until I tried them for myself about 8 years ago. I'll never go back to using the cheap stuff again; good products really do make a huge difference.
