i have a CHI pink 1'' hair iron and im about to go on a trip to NIce, France. i really need it wherever i go and i have a plug converter i just need to know if it will work there like some appliances could cause problems with electricity or something.

You should be find if you have a converter. I don't think that it should give you or anyone else electricity problems. I have traveled overseas and taken stuff with me all the time and nothing happens.
But if you are doubting yourself just buy one there.

The best thing for you to do is call/email someone at the hotel you'll be staying at and explain the situation. They should be able to tell you if your converter will work or not. If not then you have plenty of time to find what you need.
I know when I went to France I had to by special electrical devices to plug in; to use my Video Camera/Blowdryer etc.
