i got this pink hair dye from Hot Topic %26amp; i was wondering how long it lasts... it says temporary but that can mean anything. heres a picture...

temp usually lasts the day (or till washed), semi-perm colors that arent natural hair colors tend to last a couple months w/ lots of fading.

however....manic panic pink or blue hair dyes could last on top of your roommate's dog's head for much much longer.

Comb in Color washes right out. If you have a tint left over, just wash it out the second time with dandruff shampoo.

Temporary usually means that it will wash out in one wash. And since it's comb in color, it probably will wash right out. Usually, when it says "semi-permanent" you take it with a grain of salt. Otherwise, it means what it says.

Did you check all over the box? Usually it says something like 8-10 washes. But be careful, my cousin dyed her hair maroon for Fish camp and it said temporary and it didn't come out. Just use caution when applying :).

Temporary will wash out slowly and be gone totally in 2 to 3 months depending on how much you wash your hair, but to ensure it comes out use a good shampoo, if you want it to stay longer use a shampoo for dyed hair.

That depends on how often you wash your hair and the condition your hair is in....If you have light to platinum blonde hair, it will more than likely turn a cotton candy pink color and possibly stain your hair with a pink tint,or if you have a med blonde to light brown, it might stay a little longer...Temporary usually means any where from 12-36 shampoos, depending on the product...if there's a customer service # call them and ask, they would have better and more specific info for you, but if you decide that you don't like the color...wash it with dawn within 5 days of your coloring...YOu can wash it more than once if it still isnt' out...hope I can help

temporary hair color is suppose to be just that, temporary, meaning put it in now, wash it out with next shampooing. heres the catch, if you have very light hair or if you lighten your hair, meaning, highlights, bleach, anything like that you could run into trouble. if the hair is very damaged it is more likely to hold the color. a good thing to do before using any color you wouldnt want permanatly is to use a hot oil treatment right before using the color. this does not guarantee but will help. good luck. p.s. semi perm. color lasts 6-8 shampoos, not temp.

If it's a cellophane, like Clairol Jazzing, then about 4-6 weeks if you heat treat it properly. If you don't heat treat it, maybe a couple of weeks before it washes out.
