If your hair is already bleached blonde your hair will feel a lil softer whne you put the pink in.

Directions is a semi-permanent hair color that you put in your hair after bleaching it first....it's like a conditioner with color in it.

If you have virgin hair...I suggest you bleach it first with and ON THE SCALP hair bleach. Depending on your natural color you'll nedd a high level of developer.

Naturally white to light blonde 10-20 vol

dark blonde-light brown 20 vol

med brown-dark brown 30 vol

black brown-blue black 30-40 vol

if you're a natural redhead, you may have problems bleaching....so I suggest going to a salon for help with that.

Do a strand test to time how long you will leave the bleach in rinse well with lukewarm water, shampoo, towel dry and apply Directions color.

yes. don't do it and if you still want to you should get it done professionally.

Dying your hair takes out the moisture and makes it dryer and more brittle.

But it's your choice..

Hi lifting (bleaching/pre-lightening) will cause damage to the hair, but other colors are less damaging. Permanent color is most damaging, but it isn't that bad really. Most colors now contain conditioners to prevent or offset any damage. Semi-permanents are non-damaging.

You'll be okay unless you try to bleach it out (by yourself).

dying your hair or even highlighting it isnt good for it. Its unhealthy. But if you dye your hair pink nothing will happen to it. Really only if you bleach it because theres a huge possibility it will burn or fall out. If you keep dying your hair non-stop it will begin to fall out because it will be so fried. If you dye it pink and dont dye it for another 3 weeks or after you will be perfectly fine.

Dying it any color will damage it.But you can do some easy treatments like sunsilk TLC.It will help get rid of any damage.

after years of dying ur hair it could damage it depending if the right shampoo and conditioners are used. if you want to go pink i would try a wash-in wash-out colour, then if u decide that u really like it, then go for it lol

Good Luck!

I don't see why not. I have been dying my hair for a little over ten years. There were times when I would dye it twice and bleach it within a two-three day period and I still have a healthy head of hair. It's just hair and even when you die your hair doesn't stop growing so what do you got to lose? Nothing it's gonna eventually grow back out and you can start all over.

you need to go to a professional to do it. dont attempt to do it yourself. that could cause more damage to your hair. yes dying your hair is very damaging to your hair. it can cause breakage so be careful. good luck.

well...after a while the roots of your natural hair color will start coming in, meaning you will have to dye it again. Dying it often does damage your hair and you can kiss your natural hair color good bye because dying it alot will affect it. Directions colour does work. But either way it does damage your hair and your natural hair color will be affected.

dying ur hair doesnt hurt it too much. But the more u dye ur hair the more it damages ur hair. so if u do dye it make sure u condition ur hair really well.

Only if u do it a lot, or for people with very fine or fine hair using permanent dyes of any brand will cause some level of damage. Remember it will grow out and u can cut the damaged hair off....ah the easy stuff in life.
